Winter Warming Sports Drink Recipe

Meet your hydration needs even in the coldest temps of winter. This warm sports drink will make you excited to drink fluids during cold weather activities rather than trying to get down an icy beverage in icy temps.

Ingredients:

16 ounces warm or hot water
1 cup apple juice
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 + 1/16 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Combine and drink. Drink 16-32oz per hour during activity. Poor into insulated water bottles or thermoses and enjoy a warm and cozy treat for your winter activity. Refrigerate any sports drink you don’t start with or finish and store for up to two days.
